WONDER holiday programme is designed to guide and encourage children towards
Awareness, Compassion and Expression.
Steeped in the belief that every child has the power to change the world, The Playhouse Workshop prides itself in its innovative week of fun. The guided learning will evoke creative, social, emotional, physical and intellectual awareness.
We use out-of-the-box ideas towards an experience-focused learning process that is tactile and sensory-driven. Around the topics of self-love, compassion, growth-mindset and environmental consciousness we employ 5 mediums; Movement Journaling, Science, Mixed-Media Art, Drama and Gardening.

We guide young minds to display compassion and the confidence to express thoughts and feelings through an awareness for the world they inhabit. This starts with themselves as well as everyone and everything around them.

Our camp facilitators are qualified educators and most of all, love what they do!

Drama has proven time and again, to transform a bashful personality into one brimming with confidence. A plethora of techniques will be applied during the 5 day WONDER Camp.
A safe space is created for the children to be themselves and explore their own potential through improvisation, theatre games, technique development and reflection.
Lights, Camera, Action!

In this fun and creative discipline, we develop a child's innate creativity.
We work on the ideas of personal symbolism, perspective, and expression to build a framework for a child’s personal point-of-view.
Every student is given the opportunity to create their very own masterpiece through learning a combination of non-toxic techniques; distress painting, image transfer and acrylic and water colour painting.
The possibilities are endless!
Imagine where our world could be now if everyone could plant one tree.

Something for the children to think about as they dig in the soil, get their hands dirty and watch plants grow. We’ll talk about the birds and the bees (literally!) and how plants are essential to our living, breathing planet.
Gardening is a true sensory experience that will inspire children to cherish and appreciate the nature around them.

We all have a role to play!

A very special component of WONDER combines movement and mindfulness; exploring topics such as Stillness in Motion, Yoga, and Improvisation to promote self-awareness.

Children will document and reflect through their own keepsake journals to help instil developed thoughts coupled with discoveries.
A fun way to get in touch with themselves.

Students observe, investigate, and deduce solutions to questions about how things in the natural world work.
Everyone gets to explore and apply real scientific methods to hands-on experiments; usually being surprised by what they derive.
The sessions are filled with excitement and anticipation.
How wonderful that learning can be so fun!
