smARTS

We wanted a fresh take on our new camp . The smARTS camp aims at developing emotional, creative and physical intelligence through working with a multi-disciplinary approach.

With a daily exposure to various Art forms, children will experience a wonderful journey awakening their bodies, minds and spirit. The children will use their artistic intuition to innovate and create fresh and authentic ideas.

After 2 decades of experimenting. we have developed this fun workshop; that demands lots of freedom in imagination and creative exploration. Students will learn the foundation of these disciplines and use this as a structure to building magnificent things.

DRAMA

A favourite, Dramatic Arts is something that will be at the forefront of the camp. Through theatre games and activities, the children will learn to act, devise and improvise while learning self-confidence and teamwork. The inner Actor will come shining through as the children experience kinesthetic, spatial and self-awareness and make meaningful connections.

KUNGFU by Chi Life

The children will gain strength and agility while they enjoy themselves in these customized training KungFu sessions! We will incorporate fun and discipline while

the kids learn basic Kung Fu self-defence techniques such as punching, kicking, blocking and tumbling all in a safe space. Best of all, each and every child will build confidence, enhance their

hand/eye coordination and will improve their physical and mental discipline.

MIXED-MEDIA ART

Self-expression is a very significant part of the creation process. Here, various mixed- media mediums such as acrylic paint, modelling paste, image transfer, texture, colour blending and 3D images will be used.

The children will learn various techniques to create their masterpiece that will truly express who they are.

THE SCIENCE OF MAGIC

Students will discover that some seemingly magical observations can be explained using scientific principles; creating curiosity, wonder and a determination to find and test their answers.

Students can observe a magnifying glass and replicate its shape with a water droplet to see if the magnifying effect can be observed. It creates curiosity, wonder and a determination to find and test their answers.

Art of SELF-APPRECIATION

The children indulge in the ART of self appreciation through articulation of self-love and compassion. They explore various hands-on activities to show gratitude to themselves and others; achieving a higher sense of appreciation for oneself and everyone and everything around them.

DESIGN ME

Children will explore and design an array of items for self use, such as tie and dye t-shirt, organic body scrub, henna design, face painting etc...
